Project Summary
The West Potomac High School project included a 65,000 SF classroom addition with a cafeteria, a 9,000 SF connector, and 530 SF greenhouse with minor renovations. The project encompassed all new finishes, windows, doors and hardware, equipment, casework, plumbing, sprinkler system, mechanical with dedicated outside air and VRF units for classroom temperature control, automatic temperature control, light fixtures, electrical devices and closets, low voltage systems, and firewalls to subdivide the buildings. Site work included demolition and new paving, parking, storm water controls, grading, and sidewalks. The phased construction was completed while the school remained occupied. The project received a CHPS rating.
