Project Summary
The Billie Holiday Elementary School project included a 67,837 SF renovation and a 12,274 SF addition. The school serves students in Pre-K through 2nd grade. The new addition consists of a cafeteria, gymnasium, and media center that overlooks fields, play areas, and community gathering spaces. The community wing houses shared community spaces, including a food pantry and meeting rooms. The school features unique design features such as a public walkway promenade with trees, landscaping, seating, and exterior lighting. The project is tracking to receive a LEED Silver certification.
