Project Summary

The Gainesville High School project included the construction of a 334,885 SF replacement building. The new high school features a 2-story classroom section, administrative offices, auditorium, gymnasium, media center, double kitchen/cafeteria, career and technical education (CTE) space, and outside courtyards. Athletics are supported with a competition turf field for football, soccer, and lacrosse, a surrounding track, sodded baseball and softball fields, and a 200,000 SF multi-sport practice turf field. Extensive site work was completed on the 86-acre campus.

 

Gainesville High School was the recipient of the 2022 Excellence in Construction award from the Associated Builders and Contractors of Metro Washington and Virginia.
