Project Summary
The new Nancy H. Dacek North Potomac Community Recreation Center is 48,084 SF and includes a gymnasium, auxiliary gymnasium, exercise room, social hall, kitchen, senior and community lounge, arts and kiln room, game room, vending space, conference room, offices, lobby, rest rooms, and storage space. Extensive site work consisted of large segmental retaining walls, a playground, basketball court, all-purpose court, and artificial organic turf field. The high-efficiency building contains many sustainable features including a vegetated green roof.
